Owen Ruwodo - Managing Partner
Managing Partner – Trading & Logistics
With over 20 years of experience at the crossroads of technology, corporate advisory, and entrepreneurship, Owen Ruwodo has built a career defined by innovation and impact. A graduate of Rhodes University with a Bachelor of Commerce in Information Technology and Accounting, he went on to found and scale ICT firms including Intersoft Solutions Africa and later Kakono Technologies, where he served as co-founder and Chief Technology Officer.
Owen has advised international organisations, corporates, and governments across Sub-Saharan Africa. Notably, he served as a Strategic Advisor to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), where he applied big data, analytics, and ICT systems to support large-scale civic and constitutional projects. This work allowed him to fuse technical expertise with his passion for addressing Africa's developmental challenges.
At Bridgecreek Enterprises, Owen now focuses on applying his strategic foresight and operational expertise to the company's energy and commodities portfolio. Leveraging his vast regional network and solution-driven leadership, he is responsible for structuring partnerships, driving cross-border transactions, and positioning the company for long-term growth in a sustainable and impactful way.
Keith Wakatama - Managing Partner
Managing Partner – Finance & Risk
With a background in actuarial science and a specialisation in quantitative finance, Keith brings a rigorous, data-driven approach to transactions at Bridgecreek. He has successfully passed all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) programme, a global benchmark in investment analysis and portfolio management.
After his studies at the University of Cape Town, he launched an entrepreneurial venture importing lithium batteries during the country's energy shortages, sharpening both his commercial instincts and market foresight. He later moved into private equity, working across construction, energy, and mining where he carried out the due diligence, financial modelling and structuring of various deals.
Today, he advises on mine acquisitions, commodity offtake agreements, and cross-border business transactions. Combining technical expertise, entrepreneurial execution, and a strong regional network, Keith has built a reputation for handling complex deals with precision and integrity.
